Creative Adventures Child Care offers a loving family environment for children so they feel at home while parents are working.
Creative Adventures Child Care is on a state certified food program & serve nutritious meals & snacks.
I use the Creative Curriculum for preschool that focuses on play-based learning with an emphasis on readying kids for kindergarten & independence. I follow the Montessori philosophy of teaching. We focus on learning through constructive, creative, hands on educational play.
I use the ECIPs (Early Childhood Indicators of Progress) that
are Minnesota's Early Learning Standards for school readiness for children 6 weeks - 6 years of age. Developing my curriculum around the ECIPs ensures that children learn all of the domains important for early childhood development including Social & Emotional Development, Approaches to Learning, Language & Literacy Development, Creativity & the Arts, Cognitive Development, & Physical & Motor Development.
We do creative art, preschool, circle time, story time, indoor & outdoor play, park visits, walks, singing, dancing, games, & special occasion parties. We have special visitors from community helpers such as the fire department, police officer, postman etc.. We have lots of fun everyday. Caring for children is my profession of choice.
I enjoy children; playing with them, talking with them, teaching them, & meeting their physical & emotional needs. I communicate with parents each day on children's activities & accomplishments. I keep detailed record on each child's development that I share with parents. I also have a password protected blog site for my currently enrolled families. I post updates, monthly calendars, & photos of precious moments with your child.
We have a large outdoor play area with two play sets. One for older children & one for younger children, a large playhouse, climber, ride-ons,
sandbox, hula hoops, jump ropes, sprinkler, slip-n-slide, etc.
